Watts McCray Team Participate in The Hills Winter Sleep Out 2019

Some of our Watts McCray lawyers have been participating in The Hills Winter Sleep Out since it first began. The Hills Winter Sleep Out consists of people coming together to trade in their bed for a night in the cold to raise awareness about homelessness and support those most vulnerable in our communities. This year, Director Justin Dowd, Senior Consultant Chris Dunn and Senior Associate Nicole Stevens will be once again participating in the event.

Justin Dowd, Director

Justin has been a Director of Watts McCray Lawyers for over 20 years and has been recognised by The Doyle’s Guide as one of the Leading Family and Divorce Lawyers in Sydney and as one of the Leading Parenting and Children’s Matters Lawyers in the NSW category. Justin has served on a number of legal committees here and overseas and is a former President of The Law Society of NSW. Apart from being a very successful lawyer, Justin is committed to help those most in need in our community and is heavily involved in North West Disability Services which has benefited greatly from his wisdom and knowledge. We want to say a big thank you to Justin for all he does for our community. This will be Justin’s 5th Sleep Out!

Chris Dunn, Senior Consultant

Chris is an Accredited family law specialist and is well known for his ability to find resolutions to parenting disputes and to property disputes following relationship breakdowns. He has also served on a number of legal committees and is the current President of the Greater West Family Law Practitioners Association. Apart from being a successful lawyer, Chris is passionate about helping those less vulnerable in our community and supports numerous charities and charity events. He has been a big supporter of the Hills Winter Sleep Out and has slept out a total of 3 times so far to raise awareness about homelessness and its causes in the Hills. Thank you Chris for your kindness and generosity towards our community and thanks for once again giving up your warm bed to help those less fortunate in our community.

Nicole Stevens, Senior Associate

Nicole is dedicated to getting the best possible outcomes for her clients in a cost effective and efficient manner. Outside of being a great Family Lawyer, Nicole is passionate about raising awareness and funds for suicide prevention. She has participated in The Hill Winter Sleep Out 3 times so far, and this year will be her fourth. Later this year She will take on the KTF to raise funds for Mates In Construction who aim to reduce the rates of male suicide with prevention programs by raising awareness, coaching and identify those in need.
