Watts McCray Lawyers is proud to be one of the major sponsors of the inaugural meeting and conference of the International Academy of Family Lawyers (IAFL) to be held for the first time in Australia, between 20 and 24 February 2019 at the Crown Metropol Melbourne.

The IAFL is the pre eminent group of international family lawyers.  Membership is strictly limited to practitioners who are invited to join by reason of their experience and reputation.   Watts McCray is proud to have two IAFL members, Directors Barry Frakes and Justin Dowd.

Barry Frakes, who is a Governor of the Asia-pacific Chapter of the IAFL said “it is a real benefit to the practice of family law in our country that we are able to hold this conference in Australia. The Melbourne conference includes papers on parenting, property, child support and maintenance and enforcement.  Panel members include members from Europe, Asia, the Americas, Africa and the Pacific.
