Watts McCray Participate in the Hills Winter Sleepout

A large Watts McCray contingent again braved the cold in the Hills Winter Sleep Out on Saturday, 12 August 2017, helping raise awareness and money for Sydney’s homeless community. The Sleep Out raised $75,000 help local charities in the Hills area including Hills Community Aid, Give and Take and Lisa Harnum Foundation.

Justin Dowd and Maurice Edwards have participated in all four Hills Winter Sleep Outs, with Nicole Stevens, Michelle Byrne (former Hills Shire Mayor) and Chris Dunn returning as seasoned participants. This year they were also joined by Karen Appleby and Bernadette Melhem.
