JUDGES OF THE FULL COURT OF THE FAMILY COURT SIT AND SPEAK IN PARRAMATTA

For the first time in almost 10 years, the Full Court of the Family Court sat in the Parramatta Registry yesterday. The last time the Full Court sat in Parramatta was 22 August 2008.

The three Judges of the Full Court then presented to approximately 70 lawyers, at a seminar hosted by the Greater West Family Law Practitioners Association (GWFLPA).

GWFLPA President, Chris Dunn* said of the occasion: “Members and guests of GWFLPA were privileged to hear 3 excellent presentations from Judges of the Full Court on appellate procedures, how to draft effective grounds of appeal and appellate advocacy. The GWFLPA Committee gratefully acknowledges the invaluable assistance to practitioners from their Honours Justices Ryan, Ainslie-Wallace and Aldridge and also the continued support from the Judges and staff of the Parramatta and Dubbo Registries.”
