The Rising Stars of 2024 have stood out in such a competitive landscape with their dedication to their craft and ability to deliver for clients.

In 2023, Stefanie received the award of Highly Commended in the Wellbeing Champion of the Year category at the Annual Law Society of NSW Awards. Stefanie was also a finalist at the 2023 Lawyers Weekly Women in Law Awards in the categories of Wellness Advocate of the Year and Thought Leader of the Year.

Rising Star nomination process

In November, Australasian Lawyer opened nominations for its 2024 Rising Stars list, seeking out exceptional young talents within the Australian legal field. Eligible candidates, aged 35 or younger by March 31, 2024, were encouraged to self-nominate, while others could also nominate those they recognised as deserving of acknowledgment.

Nominees were required to demonstrate a firm dedication to their legal careers and a profound enthusiasm for the industry. Additionally, they needed to outline their current roles, responsibilities, and significant accomplishments from the preceding 12 months.

During the review process following the nomination period, input from managers and seasoned professionals within the legal sphere was taken into consideration. After meticulous evaluation, 73 individuals emerged as the standout rising stars among the submissions, each recognized for their remarkable contributions and potential.
