Since joining Watts McCray, Tylah has actively assisted senior lawyers in a wide variety of complex property and parenting matters including interstate and international relocation matters, Hague Convention matters (international child abduction), spouse maintenance, and complex property matters. Tylah’s excellent research skills mean that she is often tasked with undertaking legal searches and obtaining the latest judgements for the firm. You can be assured that Tylah is aware of changes in the law and can support your case with contemporary binding precedents.
Tylah is dedicated to providing her client’s with timely, clear and concise advice to ensure they feel empowered during what is an undoubtedly stressful and emotional chapter of their lives. Her empathetic and personable nature means that Tylah takes the time to ensure she understands each client’s individual circumstances and adapts her litigation strategy accordingly. Tylah always strives towards a cost effective resolution to her client’s family law matters.
Tylah grew up in Greater Western Sydney and completed her Bachelor of Laws and Bachelor of Business majoring in Accounting at the University of Technology Sydney in 2019. She also completed her Graduate Diploma of Legal Practice with the College of Law in 2019, prior to her admission as a Lawyer in the Supreme Court of New South Wales and the High Court of Australia in 2020. Tylah is a member of the Law Society of New South Wales, a member of the Law Society NSW Young Lawyers Family Law Committee and volunteers at the Redfern Legal Centre.
