Beth Agar practises exclusively in family law, including parenting and financial matters for de facto and married couples, pre and post-nuptial financial agreements, as well as maintenance, child support matters, and divorce.
Beth is passionate about Family Law and has specialised in Family Law since her admission as a Solicitor in England in 2009. Beth has since been admitted as a Solicitor of New South Wales and has brought a wealth of international family law experience to her Australian practice.
Beth, upon relocating to Sydney, initially worked for an International Accountancy and Consulting Firm before returning to her roots in Family Law. Beth’s commercial and overseas experience allows her to easily navigate complex financial matters and makes her particularly suited to matters involving an international element.
Dedicated to the early resolution of matters to the benefit of both parties and their family Beth has a proven record of resolving disputes through negotiation. Beth is a trained collaborative lawyer and member of Collaborative Professionals (NSW). However, where the need arises, Beth is a professional advocate and always works to achieve the best result for her clients.
Beth is committed to assisting clients to achieve favorable outcomes and prides herself on her compassionate and professional common sense approach to providing clients with practical, informative advice.
Beth holds an LLB (honors) degree in Law and Criminology from Cardiff University and attended the University of Sydney to complete her retraining with the Legal Profession Admission Board.
Beth volunteers for the Redfern Legal Centre and is a member of the Law Society of New South Wales.
