Belinda holds a Bachelor of Arts (Criminology) and Juris Doctor from the University of New South Wales. Belinda was admitted as a solicitor to the Supreme Court of New South Wales and High Court of Australia in 2017. Since that time, Belinda’s main area of practice has been in family law. She is currently completing her Masters of Applied Law (Family Law) at the College of Law, with an expected finish date in November 2023.
Belinda has experience representing clients in both parenting and property matters through all stages of the family law process through to instructing counsel at final hearing. Belinda’s family law experience ranges from property matters with a modest property pool to high net-worth clients and complex parenting matters. Whilst Belinda has experience representing her clients in court, including at interim hearing, her priority is assisting her clients to resolve their matters outside of court. She has completed her introductory course in Collaborative Law practice and utilises these skills in negotiating the best results possible for her clients in a timely and cost-effective manner.
Having previously worked at boutique firms, Belinda also has experience in the areas of child protection, criminal law, estates and civil litigation and has appeared in the Local, District and Supreme Court. Belinda draws upon her experience in these areas to provide holistic and comprehensive advice to her clients.
