New Fellow of the International Academy of Family Lawyers

Watts McCray is pleased to announce that the firm’s Special Counsel Maurice Edwards has now joined the firm’s directors Justin Dowd and Barry Frakes as a fellow of the International Academy of Family Lawyers.

Maurice has developed an expertise in “Hague Child Abduction” and “Hague Child Protection” matters and has presented on those topics at various seminars and conferences. He has also presented papers on Relocations, Binding Financial Agreements, Childhood Gender Dysphoria and Alternate Dispute Resolution in Family Law. Maurice is an accredited Family Law Mediator and Arbitrator.

Next week Maurice will be attending the International Bar Association Conference in Seoul, South Korea where he will be discussing with colleagues from around the world family law issues. No doubt the announcement this week of a further enquiry into Family Law in Australia will be a topic of some discussion at the Conference.
