31st LAWASIA Conference at Siem Reap Cambodia

Justin Dowd, Vice President of LAWASIA and Watts McCray Director, is pictured with members of the Bar Association of India and senior executives of LAWASIA at the 31^st LAWASIA Conference at Siem Reap Cambodia.

Justin is also pictured with judges Syrian Prou and Chiharu and members of the Malaysian and Chinese teams who participated in the International Moot Competition of the Conference.  There were 35 teams from over 18 countries involved in the competition which concluded earlier this week.

The full results of the competition are:

1.     The LAWASIA Best Oralist Team Trophy – 1807 University of Malaya, MALAYSIA

2.     Runner Up team – 1809 National University of Singapore, SINGAPORE

3.     LAWASIA Trophy for Team with Best Memorial – 1811 Universiti Teknologi Mara, MALAYSIA

4.     The Mah Weng Kwai Challenge Trophy for Best Mooter – Yohanes Ng Yu Wei from 1809 National University of Singapore, SINGAPORE

5.    LAWASIA Best Endeavour Prize – 1806 Kobe University, JAPAN

6.     The Spirit of LAWASIA Team Award – 1805 University of Kent, UK
