Priyanka joined Watts McCray in 2015 bringing with her a range of experience. Prior to joining Watts McCray, Priyanka held a solicitor role with a leading Australian commercial firm. She quickly identified a passion for family law, recognising the need to support clients through the emotional challenges they face when engaging in this area of law. She has since gained experience at leading Australian and UK based specialist family law practices.
Priyanka’s commercial and overseas experience allows her to easily grasp complex financial issues and makes her particularly suited to matters involving an international element. Her compassionate and personable nature enables her to really listen to clients and she is committed to ensuring that they understand, and feel empowered throughout every step of the process.
Priyanka is dedicated to the early resolution of matters with a focus on enabling clients to move on with their lives after a relationship breakdown. She is careful to ensure that matters are finalised in the most cost-effective manner for clients.
Priyanka has a keen interest in human rights and remains committed to working with disadvantaged members of the community. Priyanka volunteers as part of Watts McCray’s pro bono partner program with Redfern Legal Centre.
Priyanka holds a Bachelor of Laws / Bachelor of Arts from the University of Technology and was admitted as a solicitor of the Supreme Court of New South Wales in February 2009. She completed a Master of Laws in 2012.
