Marika‘s knowledge and skill set within the area of Family Law has supported her strong growth at Watts McCray and increased involvement with the new client teams. Her knowledge of legislation and procedures, coupled with her professional legal research and computer skills, ensure you are provided with a high quality of service.
Marika understands the difficulties associated with the breakdown of any relationship and is therefore sympathetic to your needs. She oversees the firm’s online divorce site which allows members of the public to register as a client and conduct their divorce proceedings online. Marika is always ready to assist you with this process to ensure that the proceedings are conducted with minimal fuss or delay, allowing you to move on with your life swiftly.
Marika is also a Justice of the Peace (JP) who can assist clients in both time and their legal costs when witnessing documents for a fee lower than that of a solicitor.
Marika grew up in Sydney and has worked in the area of law since 1983. She began her career in Family Law as a very capable Legal Personal Assistant to a Partner of Watts McCray in 1994, and decided to further her career by commencing an Associate Degree in Law with Southern Cross University in 2006. Marika completed her Degree in early 2011.
To keep up-to-date and learn about new developments, Marika regularly attends seminars, particularly those held at the Court after hours by Greater West Family Law Practitioners Association. She enjoys evidence based work behind the scenes.
