SPECIAL EXPERTISE

Michael's passion for a legal career in family law was set when he was exposed to this specialist area whilst still studying.  His experiences working in and with the community have afforded him a unique insight into the efficacy and need for the Family Law Courts system, and a strong desire to contribute to that system, be it through the processes of mediation or through defended hearings.

Michael has a particular passion for children's matters, especially those involving relocation and parental responsibility. 

Along with solid drafting skills, Michael is meticulous in his work and has a high attention to detail. 

Michael recognises the stressful situation clients often find themselves in with regard to family law matters.  His ability to communicate with and provide advice to clients in an understanding and empathic manner is an important aspect of the way in which he supports his clients.  Michael's skill in this area is strengthened by his experience as a volunteer counsellor dealing with clients in stressful and often crisis times.

Michael undertook his Bachelor of Laws at the University of Technology in Sydney.
